I’m a writer for Wired Magazine in California and am trying to find out if there's ever been a couple who fell in love through an overseas call center call. More specifically, I’m interested to know if anyone has ever heard of a call center agent striking up a relationship with a westerner he or she met via an overseas call center call? I understand that this is a delicate issue – a relationship like that would generally mean the operator would have to quit or be fired. But, maybe if the person has already left the job they would feel more free to speak about it? Anyway, I know it's an odd question but it occurs to me that it must have happened at some point and I’d love any insight into the matter you have.
