Peter Bochner in "Notes outsourcing: Where and when" provides some insights about the outsourcing of IBM/Lotus Notes and Domino administration. What he sees as a "trend," however, I just see as a solution that some companies are going with because they don't have dedicated expertise on staff, so they look out of house for help.
